The purpose of this continuing education course is to provide the attendees with tried and true tips for how they can better serve their clients through open communication with the title company and lending institutions. Each section will cover a different phase of the home purchase process and cover what real estate agents can proactively— and at times reactively—do to ensure a smooth closing. By the end of this course, the attendees should possess an understanding as to the importance of accurate executed paperwork from all parties, what legally can and cannot be done to solve various problems, a working knowledge of all closing documents including Acts of Sale and financial statements, as well as other tools to use when various situations arise in the purchase transaction process. Real world examples will be used to illustrate problems that may arise and how agents can use their new knowledge base to problem solve in a way that the closing itself runs as smoothly as possible.
